Are you ready for Easter? As well as a four day weekend, it’s the perfect excuse to gorge on too much chocolate. Opening on 28 March, the fun fair can be found in Platt Fields Park in Fallowfield until Saturday 11 April. This annual event promises to entertain families from noon till midnight. Have a ride on the traditional dodgems and the waltzers. The fair will have old favourites and new additions to satisfy anyone’s adrenaline levels. After a day out at the fair you can have a walk around Platt Fields Park and enjoy the natural views.
Calling all Manchester City fans! Have you been waiting for the day to win a City t-shirt signed by the entire football squad? Your time has finally arrived. This year the club has set up an exciting treat for anyone booking a tour around the stadium between 25 March and 14 April. As you are enjoying a professional guide around the stadium, keep an eye out for 11 player egg heads that have been cunningly placed along the tour path. Find the 11 heads and identify which player egg heads are hiding where. The winner wins a signed shirt with any name or number upon request. Look to the sky! The ducks are coming. The annual duck race is coming back to Leftbank, Spinningfields on Good Friday. This is a charity race to raise money for the local children’s charity Brainwave. The event is free to attend and you can buy a duck for just £1. Get a duck and unleash their inner racer to win some fantastic prizes. The race doesn’t start until 2pm but there are lots of fun activities starting from 11am.
