With advances in modern medicine and the general health of the average person increasing, we are now lucky to be able to live longer than ever before. But modern life in the west tends to mean we eat a poor diet consisting of refined carbohydrates and sugar that take our daily calorie intake up to between 2000 – 3000 calories a day.
The types of food we are gorging on is making us sick; cancer, heart disease and diabetes are now the three main causes of death in the western world today.
The opposite is occurring in the land of the Hunzas in Pakistan. It is common for people to live well into their 90’s, and beyond. The difference between them and westerners is that they tend to live well into old age without developing any chronic diseases.

Without a diet consisting of high amounts of refined carbohydrates, sugar, animal fat, hydrogenated vegetable oils, the Hunzas of Pakistan have very little worry of developing cancer, heart disease or diabetes; the biggest killers of westerners.
