London Halloween Events In 2016

October 19, 2016

Now that the weather is starting to turn a little bit colder, it’s the perfect time of year for you to get a good curry down you to really warm up those cockles. The approaching winter is going to bring strong winds, slashing rains and, quite possibly, a little bit of snow- and there’s nothing better than a spicy curry to keep the cold at bay.

But the colder climate also means one very important thing- Halloween is coming. This is one of the most anticipated seasons of the year, and so you might just be starting to feel the pressure of deciding on how to celebrate. Halloween only comes once a year, and so you should make sure that you’re aware of what’s going on near you so that you can really make the most of it.

Luckily, we’re here at Nawaab to go through some of the best things for you and the family to do in London this Halloween. So sit back, relax and enjoy as we take you on a spooky tour of the capital:

1)     Tours

London is so famous and iconic due to its unbelievable architecture and monuments, and the city utilises these famous structures throughout Halloween. You can head off to the London Dungeons or The Tower of London for a spooky tour, or even retrace the footsteps of Jack the Ripper on an extra special ghost tour.

2)     Sightseeing

Amongst all of the iconic buildings lie places in London that some people claim to be haunted- making them perfect destinations for Halloween this year. Various pubs such as The Viaduct Tavern and The Spaniards Inn are London’s most haunted areas, while you could also go ahead and catch a show at the Theatre Royal Drury Lane, which is said to be a haunted London theatre. The nation’s capital is full of spooky buildings, but they are certainly not for the faint hearted!

3)     Activities

If you want to stay busy this Halloween, then you might want to think about taking in one of London’s various spooky activities. You could check out the Roald Dahl themed Dinner at the Twits, go and watch a scary film at one of the many screenings throughout London or even head to London Zoo to check out some of the scariest animals out there!

There’s plenty to do for Halloween this year, and make sure you check out our Indian restaurant in London if you need something to eat within all of the excitement!
