Our London restaurant has seen some famous faces in its time. And it is always a pleasure to have some of Pakistan’s biggest celebrities grace our banquet hall when they visit England. In September 2019 we were even visited by Sahiba Ahmad and Afzal Khan – more commonly known as John Rambo – two of Pakistan’s leading actors and television personalities.
The pair were visiting London where they took time to sample our restaurant and try the delicacies we have on offer as well as spending time with Royal Nawaab’s founder Mr Mahboob Hussain, where he told them all about the history of our great restaurant, our food as well as our plans for the future.
Sahiba & Rambo may be most well known for their acting, comedy and appearances on Pakistani TV but Sahiba and her husband Rambo also runs a lifestyle blog on Youtube called ‘Lifestyle with Sahiba’. Her blogging focuses on lifestyle, travel and food and often features tips and tricks on everything from growing your own vegetables to dietary tips on how to recreate her fresh and glowing look.
They also love to show their followers exciting places to eat all around the world, which is why they took the time to record a piece with our owner and to show their fans here and back in Pakistan some of the great dishes we have on offer.
Sahiba is well known for staring in hit films such as “Hero”, in which she starred alongside John Rambo and Izhar Qazi, “Khazana”, “Mamla Garbar Hai” and “Munda Bigra Jaye”.
Alongside husband Rambo, their travel and lifestyle blog on Youtube has grown from strength to strength as they travel the world discovering great places to eat, so it was an absolute pleasure that they decided to dine with us at Royal Nawaab and experience our banquet dining first hand.
