Summer Events in Manchester

Manchester is a city that is filled with history, art and music which means that it’s safe to say it’s always beaming with life when it comes to events. Here at Royal Nawaab, every so often we like to dedicate a blog to everything that is going on in and around Manchester, which is why we’re going to over some of the most anticipated activities set to happen this summer…

Manchester Day, 18th June

The annual event is back and will take place on Sunday 18th June. With parades, food and drink, photo opportunities and themes, there’s no better way to celebrate everything that is great about Manchester! This year, the event will pay tribute to the victims of the Manchester bombing that occurred in May.

Jurassic Kingdom Tour, 8th-23rd July

For an entertaining yet educational way to entertain the kids this summer, the Jurassic Kingdom Tour is the way forwards! With over 30 animatronic dinosaurs, street food, souvenirs and more, children and adults alike will be amazed. Plus, the dinosaurs have moving limbs and roaring sound effects!

Manchester Pride, 25th-28th August

June is the official LGBT pride month and Manchester Pride weekend is due to take place at the end of August! With thousands of visitors coming to celebrate, the annual event concludes with The Big Weekend and a parade which travels throughout the city on the 26th August! If you’re a member of the LGBT community or are supporting someone, pride is definitely one not to miss!
