What’s on in Manchester this Christmas

December about to kick off with Christmas spirit and there is no doubt that Manchester will be one of the places to be. Here at Nawaab, we’re going to tell you a few of the exciting events guaranteed to be taking place in this Northern city centre…

Christmas Markets

These award winning markets are one of the largest in the United Kingdom and stays open for an exciting 5 weeks. With food, drinks and a whole range of activities, the markets attract shoppers from all over the UK. Located in 10 different areas within the city including Albert Square, Brazennose Street and St Ann Square; the markets consist of 350 festive stalls that are not to be missed!

Ice Skating Rink

For the first time, the organisers of the Christmas Markets have added an Ice Skating Rink! It will be placed in Cathedral Gardens next to Manchester Victoria Station and will be open to the general public from November to January! Get your skates ready and prepare yourself for a full month of festive skating!

Santa’s Grotto

If you venture into the Andale itself, you will find a Santa’s Grotto. This festivity is perfect for the children and nothing says Christmas than a visit to the jolly man himself!
